The Forged Steel Swing Check Valve is a high performance valve designed for demanding industrial applications where strength, durability and reliability are critical. Constructed of forged steel (carbon or alloy steel) to withstand high pressures, temperatures and corrosive media, the valve is ideal for use in the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation and other heavy industries.

The valve features a swing-open flap design that ensures minimal pressure drop and seals immediately upon fluid reversal, while its rugged, forged construction provides excellent resistance to deformation and wear. Forged steel construction: Valve body material: forged carbon steel (ASTM A105) or forged alloy steel (ASTM A182 F22/F91). Superior strength and durability under extreme pressures and temperatures.

High-pressure, high-temperature resistance: Rated up to Class 2500 (ASME B16.34) for pressures up to 420 bar (6,090 psi). Reliable operation at temperatures up to 800°F (427°C), with optional materials for higher temperatures.

Oscillating Flap Design: Hinged flaps allow for smooth, low resistance forward flow and immediate sealing in the event of reverse flow. Reduces water strike effect compared to other types of check valves.

Robust internal construction: Flap and seat materials: stainless steel (410/316) or Inconel for high-temperature and corrosive applications. Metal-to-metal or soft-seal options available for zero leakage (Class VI).

Compliance: Meets API 594, ASME B16.34, and NACE MR0175 for high pressure and acid applications.
